We got to do better

With all the things going on in the world,in Haiti,Afghanistan and ,even right here in our own country.With the healthcare situation ,unemployment,our kids becoming brain dead,uneducated by poor school systems and poorer parenting systems.With the homeless numbers through the roof,people loosing family members and children everyday to kids who want to be gangsters and etc. It's almost disgusting to me how people can still find the time,to wake up everyday and decide to contribute to the problem.While their playstation 3's are just being turned off,they mom downstairs or around the corner making breakfast,so they can go to the job that somebody blessed them with,these people still find time to complain,dig into other people business with only evil intentions in mind(gossip&rumors).Boys running around thinking they men and girl's who think they women letting them do it.I say we gotta do better because,while for some reason everybody run around here thinking that it's all about me it's all about me ,that's so far from the truth.We all are representatives,ambassador's of how this world is, or at least how it should be.It's funny but i was watching the movie Elf the other day and santa's sleigh wouldn't fly anymore because of the energy that was out there in the world,and while santa is a far cry from our reality ,the energy we put out is not.Why are we a people who want to see the next person fail?,a people who would rather keep our hands in our pockets then to reach out and help another.I know god is still giving out common sense so why is it that no one is using it?Does no one see our daughter's training to be stripper's?Our son's training to be nothing?In a world with so much misery and death and ,everybody seeming to worry about the end of the world is it to much to ask that we can even say a pleasant hello to one another.A friend of mine asked me "why do you speak to everybody if they not speaking to you first?" my answer is "why not?" just maybe i can change somebodies perspective on how to do things,and in turn maybe another,and another.Why when we see somebody with something nice we automatically think its fake(whether it is or not)or just get mad cause they got it and we don't.Instead of finding out how they got it or pushing yourself to get there or even congradulating someone on their acheivements.This is the energy that is being put out in the world everyday.This is what has us a prosperous people,with all the fun and game's imaginable.Enough food that we throw it into the trash without even thinkin about it.Enough money that no matter how high cigarettes and liquor raise in price we find a way to get it and even in this"recession"I have yet to see an empty parking lot at any restaurant,or bar and grill.The energy we decide to wake up in the morning and put out has even us,with all these luxuries,a miserable and sad sight.I close with this,today on my facebook i seen somebody was complaining about how many channels the telethon for Haiti was on.To even joke about about something like that further magnatizes the whole topic of this article and should open our eyes to what needs to be done.People we gotta do better.We got to go in the world and try to inspire change.Change in one's self,change in how we feel about our neighbor's.Treat others as you want to be treated ,The Golden Rule!If we all just try to apply that rule we could trigger change,and if you think change cant happen thats exactly why it hasn't.We are a great people and we have the power to do anything,it's been proven time and time again.I send my love out to all,and i want to be the first to show my example of trying to do better,it's a must!
